ACE Biology

Course Information

The ACE Biology – College Preparation course focuses on structure and function in the areas of cellular biology, microbiology, human anatomy, genetics and our natural environment. Three major themes of biology are introduced: organization, homeostasis and interconnectedness. Emphasis is on the practical application of these concepts. The content of the course reflects the needs of many adult students entering postsecondary college programs in health and environmental sciences. This course meets the biology requirement for many Ontario college certificate and diploma programs (not degree programs). Note that it is the responsibility of the student to research and verify college program admission requirements.
